Mano and Seb Schofield opened the bowling for Ramsbottom. After some early lusty blows at the short boundary from the Rochdale captain, including one through the door of the clubhouse, Ramsbottom soon got on top aided by some excellent catching behind the wicket. Seb bowled his 7 overs 3 for 21 whilst Mano bowled straight through his 12 overs with figures of 2-35. The first change Ramsbottom bowlers kept the pressure on and Mikey Howarth finished with 2 for 5 and Brad Wilson 2 for 14 with one run our for Jack Thomond/Jack Hincliffe. Rochdale’s score of 82 with 15 overs left was well below par.
