ACADEMY PRESENTATION EVENING 2023
The 2023 Presentation Evening for the Academy took place on Friday 6th October. The evening reflected on the 2023 season, another busy summer for girls and boys of all ages enjoying the game of cricket. A lot of effort goes into running the Academy and thanks were given to Phil Croft and his committee, the coaches, the volunteers and all the parents and carers who support the players every week. Special thanks also to our Academy Sponsors “Grace Overseas” for their continuing support.
A special note about Phil Croft who has decided to stand down as Chair of the Academy. He has done an excellent job over the last 7 or 8 years and a big thank you for all his effort and time. We are also delighted that Sarah Taylor has agreed to replace Phil as Chair. Sarah already has close links with the Club as her family business, Grace Overseas is the sponsor of the Academy and her son Harry plays for the Under 13s. Her husband, Brian, is one of the coaches and the older members may recall he played for the Club and was the 1st team captain in 1999.
