End of Season Thanks

The nights may be drawing in but we are still enjoying a few more days of sun as we move into Autumn. On the field the club have had a successful season with all three senior teams picking up trophies. The junior section continues to encourage and develop the youngsters who we hope have enjoyed the season.

All this of course does not happen without the help of a wide group of people providing support, encouragement, time and effort.

So, in no particular order can I thank the players for their hard work, commitment and performances on the pitch that had helped to bring that success.

Our ground is one of the best in the area and even now it’s looking brilliant as you can see from these photos.  That’s thanks in the main to our groundsmen – Roger, Paul and Gordon but also to the help over the year from our volunteers. We owe them all our thanks again this year.

The players are also supported by our coaches and of course parents who put in lots of time to makes sure the players can concentrate on playing. A big thanks to all involved.

The club does not run itself so can we also thank the staff, volunteers and officials who try to keep everything running and to make everything happen.

Finally, can I thank our supporters, lots of who fit into some of the descriptions above who follow and support our teams home and away. We are one of the best supported teams in the league and that is very much appreciated.

Hope to see you at the Presentation Evenings on 27 September and 18th October and of course for the 2020 season.
