Last weekend saw the club win 3 of its 4 matches.

On Friday we beat Walsden in the T20 to secure top spot in the group and a home quarterfinal. Walsden opted to bat first and made 156 for 7. Daniel Pike and old timer Jonathan Fielding both took 3 wickets. We won in the last over with Alexander Olpin 40 not out. Bradley Fielding made 39 and Benjamin Parkinson 36 in an excellent away win.

On Saturday the 2nd team moved into the semi-finals of the Telegraph Cup by beating Littleborough. Batting first we scored 134 all out. Michael Howarth made 35 and fresh from retirement Laurie Marsden ended on 23 not out. Littleborough were then bowled out for 77 to secure the semi-final berth.

On Sunday the 1st team travelled to Lowerhouse in the league. Lowerhouse batted first and posted a challenging 226 for 8. Jonathan Fielding took 5 for 56. After reaching drinks at 75 for 2 (at the same stage Lowerhouse were 75 for 1) we were unable to accelerate and ended up 151 all out, in part due to an aggressive 30 from 24 balls from Jonathan Fielding.

At home the second team beat Colne by 4 wickets. After bowling out Colne for 120, the target was reached for the loss of 6 wickets. Jack Thomond took 5 for 56 and in reply Dale Gabriel scored 54 and Brad Wilson saw us home with 24 not out.
