With half term week and mixed weather only two junior teams played this week.
On Mon 27th May our U9s performed brilliantly again. In the first match, Rammy scored 290 /1 against Bolton Indians B 217/3. In their 2nd match, Rammy’s 229/1 played Brooksbottom 230 /4 , another good win and a close call which could have gone either way.
On a sunny Tue 28th May, our U13s had a 54-run win against Todmorden in the league. Rammy were put into bat and reached 128-4 off their 20 overs with Isaac Turner opening the batting again and getting amongst the runs (31ret n.o.), well supported by Oliver Croft (27) and Harry Bradley (31 ret n.o.). Tod’s reply was thwarted by good bowing from Rammy especially 2 wickets each for Isaac Turner and Joe Lynchey, with 3 catches for Oliver Croft.
The future looks bright for Rammy Juniors.
