Team News – 27 April 2023
The 3rd team won their first match of the season last weekend. Bowling first we saw a promising spells from debutant James Holt (2 for 15 off 5.2) and a returning Academy player Tom Ireland (3 for 22 off 7). Ed Lee comtinued his good form with an unbeaten 32 to steer us home Full scorecard here
We have a busy Bank Holiday weekend of cricket ahead starting with the 3rd team away at Rishton on Saturday to play their 4th team. On Sunday the 2nd team are at Acre Bottom and will play Bacup. The 1st team are away at Todmorden on Sunday.
An early start on Monday when the Women’s 1st team start their National T20 knock out campaign against Burnley. The 3rd team finish off the weekend with a home game against Todmorden on Monday.
All the games are scheduled to start at 1 pm.
