A great weekend for all teams as the 3rd team secured top spot in Pool B and the 1st and 2nd teams both picked up 12 valuable points in the league. A full weekend coming up with league matches on Saturday and Sunday plus the T20 finals day at Bacup on Monday.

The 3rd team finished top of Pool B for the second season with an impressive win against Lowerhouse last Saturday. Lowerhouse batted first and scored 160 for 6 with Ryan Storer taking 3 for 35. The 3rds reached their target in the 35th over thanks to some solid batting throughout the top order. Ryan made 20 and Jake Walker 43 but there were useful knocks by Toby Ashworth, Owen Collinge, Lee Kenyon and Chris Round to see us home. The 3rds now go into the play offs with matches at Walsden on 31st August and at home to Todmorden on 7th September. All support will be welcome.
